It's so Cool!! : Darth Vader Child Standard Costume (Child Small 4-6)
Overall, this is a legitimately terrifying costume that will stand up to some wear and tear. My 4-year-old is much taller than most kids his age, and we were very frustrated to find that the thorough Clone Trooper costume we bought at the store just barely fit him, despite being labeled as fitting kids 5-7 years old. This Darth Vader costume was a good find for us, as it's roomy and will last him for at least a year or two.
The good: The costume itself is pretty well-constructed, and much more detailed than the thorough Vader costume you find at a obvious huge chain toy store. My son was legitimately wowed by it, and wanted to wear it constantly despite the fact that it was the middle of summer! It's a lot of fun for imaginative play. The silver parts of the suit are legitimately constructed of a flexible plastic-type substance that gives it a much more realistic, 3-D look than the usual printed costume. The cape is detachable.
The bad: Even though the costume shows gloves and a light saber, you'll need to buy these items separately. (The gauntlet gloves are legitimately nice, and in my opinion, legitimately end the costume.) The costume belt is Way too big, and not very adjustable. To get it to fit our son, we have to tie it in the back rather than using the velcro fastener. This makes visiting the bathroom less than fun!
I'd buy this costume again, but would be happier if they'd consist of gloves and make the belt more legitimately adjustable.Please Check Update Here!!
